Learning to drive

We've been taking Rhi to a business park near Maresfield since the businesses are closed over the weekend and it makes for a great practice driving area.

Provisional license

While our girl is home, she has decided to learn how to drive so she applied for a provisional learner's license.  She is pretty excited about it.  Look out, Sussex!

Mothering Sunday

Today was Mothering Sunday (Mother's Day) and we had a lovely day. We went for brunch at Wolfox in Brighton, then I had a Thai massage. I feel so blessed to have such a loving and thoughtful family.

Rugby boys

Tonight Tryfan and some of his teammates had a match down in Brighton.  These 15 year olds are looking so tough but also cute.

Snow!

 We woke up to snow the other day and it has actually stayed around all week due to the cold temperatures. Beautiful and novel for us here in the south of England. 

 

Plumbers in the house

 We've had a leaky tap (faucet) in the kitchen sink for a few years now and Rhodri has fixed it several times, but now its time for new tap altogether!  Rhiannon came home last week and even though there are mixed emotions about that generally, it is so wonderful to actually have her here at home.  She and Rhods had a bit of a laugh installing the new sink faucet.
