Thinking about eggs

The other day, Tryfs and Rhiannon wanted to make some poached eggs on top of sourdough toast with smashed avocado, one of their favorite meals. Too bad we didn't have any eggs! They realized it a bit late so had to make do with just the toast and avocado. So then, a couple of days later, Tryfan was riding his bike back from Heaven Farm and he remembered that we needed eggs.  He detoured to one of the local farms selling eggs from an honesty box, had the right amount of coinage on himself to pay for the eggs, and then rode the rest of the way home with the box of eggs in his hand (switching hands to change gears up the hill). A victory to reach home himself intact and with unbroken eggs, having had the thought and initiative to do it all himself! I could not have been prouder. Its the small things...
