Sahale Arm

Today we got a good early start and were on the trail by 8am. Today would be a long day, and we needed to hit the trail. This place is my most favorite spot on the planet and we were blessed by the most gorgeous weather with clear skies, vibrant green meadows and stark snow fields against the North Cascade jaggedness.

When it was time to head back, Rhodri, Rhiannon and Phil headed back down the trail
while the rest of us went down to Doubtful Lake for a swim and then did some exciting bush whacking down to the trail

It was actually quite nerve racking because we kept getting "cliffed out". But we did eventually pop out on the trail right where we were aiming for, and what a truly happy moment that was!
All in all, it was an incredible day that I hope I will remember for a long, long time.
