Graduation success

Well, both kids were asleep by 7:15pm last night in their new beds and they slept like troopers through the night! Tryfan woke only once around 2:30am for a feeding and then up to start the day at 5am -- this is perfect for him right now. Rhiannon woke up at 6:40am and just sat in bed waiting for someone to come say good morning. She said that she had a "good sleep" and she was very chuffed with herself for sleeping way up high on her top bunk big girl bed. Rhodri had built up a crash landing site of pillows and sleeping bags below her bed just in case things went horribly wrong, but they didn't get any use. Woo hoo! Let's hope this is the first of many good nights of sleep in these beds.

This afternoon, Elin and Sofia and little Johanne came over to play. This photo gives a false image of the peace and tranquility that we did not experience this afternoon.Tryfan and Johanne enjoyed chewing on opposite ends of the measuring tape -- the scene reminded us of Lady and the Tramp eating spaghetti together :-)

Whoo Hoo!! That is a big moment!! Keep us posted on the transition - We have Sofia's big girl bed ready to go but she doesn't want to do anything but read stories on it!! So, we are still in the crib for now.
