This weekend we didn't do too much -- just our
vanlig helge (normal weekend) activities of taking turns sleeping in, spending some time up at the
lekeplass (playground), going on a family bike ride, and catching up with friends and neighbors. Since Tryfan is going to start
barnehage on Wednesday this week, I decided to give him a practice run in his winter playsuit and boots. He had a hard time walking in them and fell flat on his face the first time he stood up in them...poor little guy! - no bruises or bumps from it though. Tryfan watches absolutely everything that Rhiannon does and he is so quick to catch on! Here is he watching her make a sand cake.
On Saturday afternoon, we had our friends Ben and Claire over and Rhiannon was very fast to warm up to them. She talked Ben into squeezing into this playpen so she could feed him yogurt. Bentley loves yogurt too so he wanted some of the action!
The other thing we tried to do this weekend was to get out our winter clothes and put away our summer clothes. Its been chilly lately (~45-50 deg F)! We managed to get out the winter stuff but didn't have time to deal with the summer clothes so our upstairs level of the house (where the bedrooms are) is an absolute bombsite. I guess you get that on the big jobs.
