Rhiannon turned 5 today and we had a birthday party for her from 4-6:15pm. There were 9 kids total including Tryfan.
First we had a dance party to the songs from Mamma Mia soundtrack and played Musical Statues, Musical Bumps and Musical Rocks.
Then we all decorated small gingerbread houses
and then helped decorate the big gingerbread house
Then Rhiannon opened presents with Rhodri facilitating
And then we sang Happy Birthday and ate cake!
This is the lovely creation that Sarah-the-cake-lady made for Rhiannon.
After the party, we all walked down to the village hall for the annual Tree Lighting ceremony. All the kids who go to the local school (incl Rhiannon who is in the bottom row here) sang some songs for everyone.
It was a successful birthday and a great start to the weekend!
