Today Sophie and Oscar came over to play and just hang out while their parents got stuff packed for their holiday trip. We have been able to find a few spots where there are ripe blackberries already and had planned to make a Blackberry-apple crumble for dessert but these two found the berries to be better for face painting!
Here was the general scene: boys taking turns climbing up into the tree to pretend to rescue Tryfan's kitty and girls climbing around playing other pretend games.
After Sophie and Oscar went home, the troops just hung out with Michel. They love playing with him, as you can see in this photo...
We had a really great afternoon and then we all talked by video to my parents on Skype for our weekly get-together in cyber space.
