Today was unfortunately dominated by work for me, but we had promised the kids that we would go swimming at The Triangle in Burgess Hill at some point. Rhiannon and Tryfan were so good during the day, playing together in the living room and just making up games while they waited for me to finish working. They built a bowling alley with Tryfan's birthday cards as the pins (stacked standing up dominos-style) and a chunk of clay as the bowling ball.
We left for The Triangle around 2:30pm and spent a couple of hours there swimming around and going down the slides. It was pretty crowded here but I think its always pretty crowded here, especially during Half Term. We had fun on the slides though - kids under 8 years old have to go with an adult, so it was good that we were 2 adults and 2 kids!
Then we went to McDonalds for dinner as a bit of a special treat.
Our week was off to a fairly good start...
