We borrowed a concrete mixer and then we spent the past few days building a mould so we could be ready to pour today! It was a lovely day, perfect for working hard in the sun.
Rhodri's job was to mix the concrete and shovel it into the mould, and my job was to spread it around and make it smooth and level.
Tryfan was helping by bringing us cold drinks and Rhiannon had spent the night at Aggie's last night so stayed the day with her. We invited Aggie and her family over for a BBQ this evening so we could enough the deck with them.
It was our first dinner party out on the deck, and I believe it was a success.
