Slovenia: Day 2

Today started with a "family football" game which got us all really hot and sweaty after a night of being hot and sweaty (and not sleeping much!).
Our own football pitch
We had planned to visit Lake Bled, but the Cieplies sussed it out the day before we arrived and decided it was waaaay too crowded and commercial for us to be able to enjoy. So we decided to spend the day at Lake Bohinj instead. We drove in convoy and deliberately took the scenic route that would have us avoid Bled.  Although it took us a bit to park and walk to the lake, and then to find the perfect lunch spot (including walking barefoot through rocky shallow water, which wasn't much fun for some...), it turned out to be such a wonderful day.
Halfway through our afternoon here, we moved to the other side of the lake, hired a SUP (stand up paddleboard) and played on it for a couple of hours before we decided to head back to our casa.
The water was a perfect temperature: cool but not cold, clear and refreshing and wonderful.

Back at camp, we played one more rematch of family football - this time we had 2 Slovenian youngsters join us. Then Annabel and I reheated the leftovers on a disposable BBQ and we feasted round the table outside. We took turns having showers and then we played a few rounds of Sussed, which was really fun.
