Happy Birthday Tryfs!
This morning our birthday boy woke up and wanted to have breakfast in bed, which turned out to mean actually breakfast in our bed (toast crumbs and all). He was really happy to receive the new Wings of Fire book, a Premier league football and goalie gloves from Grandma and a Minecraft game from us. Then in the afternoon he opened a couple more presents - this season's "away" kit from Liverpool (shirt from Uncles Will & Eric, and shorts from Nain & Taid). He was really happy!
And so, at a full 10 years of age, Tryfan is:
- curious about many things, with plenty of questions
- a very good listener, especially in situations when other people don't know he is listening
- thoughtful and articulate
- always ready to help, and when he is asked to do something, he usually jumps right up to do that thing without hesitation
- a real cuddler who likes to hold hands and snuggle
- someone who knows his mind and doesn't have a problem saying no to doing something he doesn't want to do
- sensitive and sweet
- probably the best all around 10 year old boy I know
We are so grateful to have Tryfan in our lives.
