Sections of it were pretty deep with snow, and nothing was groomed of course, but Dave takes his dogs mushing along this stretch so he had birch stick markers to indicate packed trail around the perimeter.
Pictures don't really do justice at all for this place - it is so big and white and expansive. Today had a sort of flat light and we didn't take many photos at all. At one point we saw Dave and his dogs mushing towards us, but they had to turn around because the snow drifts were too deep and it wasn't very fun for the dogs or Dave. That's ok, its only our first full day here and we will have more chances to see them all.
The light opened up a bit as we approached the cabin, and we could see for the first time one of the mountains near Kittefjell
It is just so gorgeous here. This is heaven to me.
