This place is pretty rustic. We were a little apprehensive about using an outhouse in the middle of winter in north central Sweden, but actually it was just fine!
It is nice to be just us here with no wifi. We do have electricity including a mini-fridge, microwave, stove top and 3 lightbulbs, but they can't all be plugged in at the same time.
The outhouse isn't bad either. In fact, we found later this week that it is actually much more pleasant than the inside toilets at the other cabin we spent time in...
It is a bit of a walk from the cabin to the outhouse, but even that was not unpleasant. Here you can see both the cabin and the outhouse in the same frame.
And of course, we are in the most gorgeous location at the edge of this frozen lake! Nils Goran and his family actually own this place and live across the road on their farm, so if we need anything we can call him.
