The other day, Eli got hit by a car.
We didn't know he was hit, we just knew that something was wrong because he couldn't walk or jump properly and then he started peeing blood on Monday night. We weren't sure if he would live to see Tuesday morning but he did and we kept an eye on him all day as he rested, then finally took him to the vet on Wed where they did an x-ray and confirmed that he had been hit by a car. Poor little guy.

The vet sewed his insides back together and now he has to stay indoors for a couple of weeks as he recovers. We have been surprised at how quickly he seems to be back to his normal self though! He trots around the house, chasing Sugar around and playing rough as the kittens always do. But he has to be given some meds a few times a day and that is kind of a drag, especially as we are going away this weekend and have to arrange for neighbors to come and check on him.
