This morning was such a gift - we had glorious sunshine and a whole day to spend at Chalfonts. Rhodri went on his usual Sunday morning bike ride so the kids and I made pancakes and sat outside to enjoy them.
Then in the afternoon, the rugby game was on (a big match for Wales) and our neighbors Gordon & Anne-Marie and their 3 boys came over for a roast ham dinner followed by watching the big game. Anne-Marie and I mostly sat on the back steps in the sunshine and chatted. It was such a lovely way to spend the day. Too bad Wales lost!
