Rhiannon's class had a reunion today at the Danehill recreation field to get together just one last time before the new school year begins. Their teacher from last year (soon to be Tryfan's teacher) was the one to suggest and organize it, and actually it was so nice to get everyone together. The only student missing was Max who just moved to Germany. So we all brought snacks and drinks and met at the Rec for the afternoon. Not all parents were there, but enough were to make it fun. Plus there were a few older siblings who showed up to make things feel extra grown up.
Ms GJ got a game of Rounders going and so all the kids plus a few parents played. It had been threatening rain for awhile, but then it started in earnest so I grabbed the tipi from the car (brought it just in case!) and we all piled in there to shelter and hang out.
Tomorrow is the last day of "freedom" and then school starts for T and R on Tuesday. Exciting!
