Today we got together with Emma, Sophie and Oscar (+ Caspar too) and headed to the Forest Row Festival to see what was going on. It was really nice to be there with kids who are old enough to essentially do their own thing! I so remember the days of trying to have fun at things like this while trying to manage the constant begging for ice cream and other treats and also trying not to lose them in a crowd. These guys could go as little gangs of 3 boys and another gang of 2 girls and stay within the confined area.
The festival itself was basically just food vendors and live music, but it was pretty fun. Then we all came back to our house and relaxed with cups of tea. In fact, at some point Cat and B dropped by, as did Caspar's family, so it was a bit of a party here! Nice way to spend the Saturday.
