We got our Christmas Tree today from the Carters down the road. They are the ones we normally go to, and this year was just as easy as it has been in the past. It is a little bit early to be getting the tree going, but with Rhiannon's birthday in a couple of days it just seemed the right thing to do.We had a few squabbles while decorating it, but it turned out fine. Tryfan had the idea of winding the flashy lights around the trunk of the tree and then keeping the solid lights for the outer parts of the branches. This seemed to work out pretty well actually.
Here is a little video of the scene as we all got into the holiday spirit. Our favorite kick off music is the CD called "It's snowing all over the world" which I got from World Market about 15 years ago. One of the songs from it is featured in this little video...
