The stretch of days between Christmas and New Years are such a gift.
Although I was actually working on Thurs and Fri this week, I did so from home and it was all fine.
This week was a blur of lounging in comfy clothes, hanging out with Sioned (Nain and Taid left on Thurs), watching TV, snacking, and generally just having license to slouch and do whatever. We did make sure to get outside to take Winnie on walks a couple times a day, but otherwise it was a gorgeous blur of days.
Today we went to the Gregory's house for an afternoon walk and dinner. They had invited another family to join as well, and we had a great time meeting new people. The kids all got along fabulously and we left late at night, but New Year's Eve is tomorrow so we should get used to staying up late anyway.
