A new project for half term

This weekend marks the start of a week of no school, a public holiday, and a few days off of work for me. With warm weather on the forecast, it seems like a good time to move out of our bedroom and do some renovation!  Here are the "before" photos after we moved the bed out. The scars on the ceiling are from when we got the slate roof put on and Martin was hammering so hard on the roof tiles that the plaster fell off the ceiling and had to be patched over.
And this one is looking back to the entrance with my desk area behind the door on the left. That big scar behind the radiator is ripped wallpaper from where the original radiator was before we replaced it.
Since we don't spend a lot of time in our bedroom, these unsightly marks have annoyed us a bit but there have been other things to keep us busy. However, with the lockdown I am working in this space every day, often on video, these things have been starting to really get to me. So with a week of unstructured time for the kids coming up, we just figured we would get this done!
Job one is to strip off the wallpaper. Fun!

Here is a little video of the scene
