This morning we woke up bright and early and got down to catch our 6:30am train to Burbank airport, where we flew up to Oakland.

Our tickets to return to England are from San Francisco leaving tomorrow
(Monday) night, and it just worked out cheaper to do this train-plane
from Burbank combination than to fly Santa Barbara - San Francisco. Plus
then we could spend time with Aunt Heidi and Uncle John in Oakland!

We had a good time on the train despite the inferior standards and seating configurations to what we are used to in the UK and we got our flight to Oakland no problem at all. Heidi and John picked us up and we went to their house for lunch, then we got ready to go to.... Fairyland!!
