I have been learning about cabbage moths (those pretty white fluttery butterflies lilting around the garden) and I reallllllly don't like them. They have been feasting on my brassicas! The www advice that I have read is to hand pick the caterpillars off the leaves. This is fine when they are little yellow eggs or even little squirmy baby caterpillars, but once they get this big I really get the jeebies when I discover them underneath the leaves.
